I made it to the MTC!

Kaylee made it to the MTC!  "My flight was good and I was able to meet other missionaries.  My P-Day is on Thursdays."  Hermana Hirsbrunner.

You can send Kaylee emails at kaylee.hirsbrunner@myldsmail.net  She will get these letters every Thursday.  Keep in mind that she only has about an hour of computer time in case you don't hear from her right away.

Another great way to write her is through a special service where a member delivers mail and packages to the MTC.  You can send your letter through the site and it will be printed and
delivered the next day.  She loves this because she can read paper letters anytime.  The link for this service is https://www.missionarypackagemx.com/mtc-letters.  You will need to provide her full name, District (5B) and mission (Maryland, Baltimore) for it to be delivered quickly.  She will only be able to receive letters this way while she is in the MTC. 

Goodbyes are the hardest!

Kaylee left for the Mexico MTC on October 24, 2017.  She was set apart as a missionary the evening of the 23rd.  It was such a spiritual time to spend as a family.  She received a very special blessing from President Jackson, our Stake President.  The morning she headed out, her dad gave her a father's blessing and we were off.  There was lots of long hugs and tears.   We stayed and watched her pass through the security until we couldn't see her any longer.   

Farewell

On October 22, 2017 Kaylee gave her farewell talk in the Stetson Valley Ward in Glendale, AZ.  A lot of her friends that she had met in the single adult ward came and supported her.  She gave an amazing talk.  We had a small open house that evening for friends and neighbors to come and say good-bye to her.
